Firefighters Struggled for 5 Hours to Douse Flames in Bachupally

Hyderabad: Firefighters had to battle for more than five hours to extinguish a fire that broke out at a roadside furniture store in Bachupally on Tuesday night. Nearly two dozen shops became unusable in the incident, which caused panic in the region.
Many fire brigades were dispatched to the scene and fought the flames for more than 5 hours. The fire was brought under control early on Wednesday after intense efforts.
The fire first broke out in a roadside furniture store and quickly spread to about 50 shops within minutes. The flames grew rapidly and spread to nearby workplaces before firefighters had time to take them under control. The job of fire brigades became difficult because flammable materials were stored in the shops.
They fought for more than 5 hours to control the fire, which started around 23:00 on Tuesday. The reasons for the incident were not yet known.
