Ceigall Infra Projects, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ceigall India, has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the construction of a four-lane highway project worth Rs 2,160 crore in Bihar under Hybrid Revenue Mode (HAM).

The project covers the four-lane section of the Sahebganj-Areraj-Bettiah section of NH-139W with a total length of 78.94 km. This includes section 1 from Sahebganj to Areraj (38.36 km) and section 2 from Areraj to Bettiah (40.58 km).

The construction period of the project is 730 days, followed by a 15-year operation and maintenance (O&M) period. The highway corridor is expected to improve regional connectivity in Bihar, enhance road safety and support economic development in the region by facilitating faster movement of goods and passengers, the company said.

Ramneek Sehgal, chairman and managing director of Ceigall India, said the project is in line with the government’s vision of Prime Minister Gati Shakti to develop integrated and multi-modal infrastructure. “As a long-term partner in India’s infrastructure journey, we are committed to delivering this project quickly, with quality and in a sustainable manner and contributing meaningfully to the country’s infrastructure-focused development agenda,” he said.

Ceigall’s overall order book was R13.295 billion at end-December 2025. The roads and highways order book was around Rs 8,523 billion and constituted 64.11 percent of the total order book.

“This order adds to Ceigall India’s strong order book and underlines the company’s continued focus on national highway projects under annual revenue-based models aligned with long-term visibility of revenues and sustainable growth,” the company said.

Earlier, Ceigall reported revenue from operations of R969 million in the third quarter of the current financial year, compared to R810 billion in the same quarter of the previous financial year. Profit after tax in Q3 FY25 increased to Rs 74.5 billion from Rs 68.2 billion in Q3 FY25.
