PM Modi Likely To Dedicate Polavaram Project In June, 2027

Vijayawada: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, if the execution is completed by June 2027 Polavaram project will dedicate to the nation.

The Minister of Water Resources Nimmala Rama Naidu told Mediapersons in New Delhi on Monday after attending a study meeting on the conduct of the Polavaram project organized by Birlik Jal Shakthi Cr Patil.

The Minister said that despite setting a target to complete the execution of the Polavaram project by December 2027, they planned to complete the project until June 2027 before the execution of Godavari Pushkaraalu in July 2027 to dedicate the nation to the nation.

When they informed the Minister of Union Patil, the EP welcomed the interest of the project by the Prime Minister.

The Minister added that the center expressed his satisfaction responsible for the execution of the project and expressed his gratitude to Patil and Modi for expanding all the support for the project.

The project announced its benefits such as stabilization of 23.5 Lakh Ayacut, drinking water supply to 28.5 Lakh people and 960 MW power production after the project was carried out. He also caused any fund shortage for the project and also announced the progress in the execution of various components of the project and the implementation of re -settlement and rehabilitation.
