PM Modi to embark on three-day visit to South Africa for G20 Leaders’ Summit​: MEA – The Economic Times Video

According to the statement made by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Johannesburg, South Africa, between 21-23 November to attend the 20th G20 Leaders’ Summit hosted by the Republic of South Africa. According to the MEA statement, this year’s Summit marks the fourth consecutive G20 meeting held in the Global South and underscores the growing influence and cooperation of developing countries in shaping global governance. During the summit, Prime Minister Modi will present India’s perspectives on key global priorities in three key sessions. The Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Growth session will focus on building resilient economies, trade, financing development and addressing global debt challenges. The second session, titled A Resilient World, will focus on disaster risk reduction, climate change, just energy transitions and food systems. The third session, titled A Fair and Just Future for All, will discuss critical minerals, decent work and artificial intelligence.
