PM Modi to Launch ₹9,400-Crore Development Projects in Telangana

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Hyderabad to lay the foundation stone, launch and dedicate multiple development projects worth around Rs 9,400 crore aimed at strengthening infrastructure, logistics, healthcare and industrial growth in Telangana.
Among the key projects, the Prime Minister will launch the four-lane National Highway-167 from Gudebellur to Mahabubnagar on the Hyderabad-Panaji Economic Corridor. The Rs 3,175-crore project is expected to improve road safety, reduce travel time by around 90 minutes and strengthen connectivity between Telangana and Karnataka.
He will also lay the foundation stone of Zaheerabad Industrial Area in Sangareddy district under the Hyderabad-Nagpur Industrial Corridor. Spread over an area of 3,245 acres with an investment of over INR 2,350 billion, the smart industrial township is expected to attract investments worth around INR 10,000 billion and create large-scale employment opportunities.
The Prime Minister will inaugurate PM MITRA Park, also known as Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, developed in Warangal at a cost of around 1,700 crore. The project is India’s first fully functional PM MITRA Park and aims to strengthen the textile value chain under the Centre’s vision of “From Field to Fiber, From Factory to Fashion to Foreign”.
As part of the expansion of rail infrastructure, projects worth around ₹1,535 million, including sections of Kazipet-Vijayawada multi-track corridor and Kazipet Rail Under-Rail Bypass, will be dedicated to the country to improve freight movement, operational efficiency and passenger services.
PM Modi will also earmark Indian Oil’s Malkapur Terminal Project in Hyderabad, developed at a cost of over Rs 600 crore, to strengthen oil storage and distribution capacity in the region.
In the healthcare sector, the Prime Minister will dedicate Sindhu Hospital, a cancer-focused, state-of-the-art, multi-super specialty institution in Hyderabad. The 1,500-bed hospital is equipped with advanced treatment and diagnostic facilities in more than 33 super specialties.
The projects are part of the Centre’s broader vision of “Viksit Telangana for Viksit Bharat”, which focuses on integrated infrastructure development, economic growth and improved public services.
