Trump also noted that an important provision of the agreement includes the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

The groundbreaking announcement came after intense diplomatic efforts and military pressure surrounding the war with Iran.

Earlier in the day, Trump reportedly told Axios that he was “solid 50/50” on whether to sign a deal or continue combat operations to “fly ’em to the kingdom.”

But after the conference call with Arab leaders, a regional diplomat told Fox News that the talks were “extremely positive” and that regional leaders are highly supportive of “the progress President Trump has made in the talks.”
