PoK Protests Intensify On Second Day, Pakistani Policemen Held Hostage, Paraded By Locals | World News

In Pakistan, the occupied Kashmir (POK) entered the second day of unrest, with a sharper note, and the inhabitants put pressure on both the regional and federal government. The situation became variable after two civilians were killed and about two dozen injured during the clashes on the first day of the demonstrations.
Protesters return against security barriers

Closure in the region
The demonstrations by the Awami Action Committee (ACC) focused on fundamental rights and representative governance requests. Unrest, Pok paralyzed daily life by paralyzing markets, shops and public transportation triggered the completely closure.
