Police hunt hi-viz bandit who pulled gun on worker during daylight robbery
The shocking moment a man pulled a gun during a brazen daylight robbery in Queensland was captured on CCTV footage released by police.
The man is seen wearing a hi-viz jacket and hoodie as he enters a business on Redbank Plains Rd in Ipswich at 11.30am on Friday, November 14, 2025.
He then pulls out what appears to be a short, double-barreled shotgun and threatens the employee with cash.
The bandit then flees on foot along Redbank Plains Road with the cash and other stolen items.
A few minutes later, around 11:37 a.m., a man matching the description of the attacker walked into Jones Rd in Bellbird Park. He was seen getting on a wheelbarrow.
Police have released the footage for information and appealed for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
The investigation into the armed robbery continues.
