Police investigate Quinns Rocks machete altercation that left two men in hospital

Police are investigating after two men were found injured near businesses on Tapping Way in Quinns Rocks.

Both men were taken to Joondalup Health Campus for treatment.

A BWS employee told reporters that a man with cuts on his body walked through the store and asked for an Uber.

The worker said he refused the request and told the man he needed to call an ambulance.

The man reportedly became agitated, refused help and fled the area.

It is understood that the incident started when one man approached the other, the fight allegedly escalated and one of the men showed a machete.

Police said the two men knew each other.
