Police return to Oak Park Station in search for 4yo Gus Lamont

Police have returned to the property where four-year-old Gus Lamont went missing in September last year.

The little boy was last seen on September 27 at his family’s Oak Park Station near Yunta, South Australia.

Police will “investigate a number of locations on the property over the next three days for evidence relevant to the case”, according to a statement from SA Police on Tuesday morning.

“The search will be carried out by Major Crime detectives and specialist STAR Group officers,” police said.

“Exploration has resumed to take advantage of opportunities that may arise as a result of recent heavy rains on the property.”

Police said further updates would be provided “as investigations continue” and urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
