Police Seek Custody of Prime Accused in Advocate Murder Case

Hyderabad: Investigators probing the murder of lawyer and Waqf activist Khaja Moizuddin have filed a petition seeking police custody of the prime accused Mahbub Alam Khan.
The custody petition filed in the VII Additional Metropolitan Sessions Court at Nampally was filed against the bail petition filed by Alam Khan’s lawyer. Police said Mahbub Alam Khan could use his influence and tamper with evidence if granted bail. Police sources announced that the court scheduled the hearing for June 22 after hearing both sides on Saturday.
