Police swarm area and cordon off London park after ‘stabbing’ | UK | News

Police cordoned off a park in the south London following a reported stabbing. The entrance to Waterloo Millennium Green on Baylis Road was cordoned off overnight. The scene of the crime is meters from Waterloo Station and opposite the Old Vic theatre.

The Metropolitan Police has been approached for comment.

A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service (LAS) said it was called to reports of a stabbing on Baylis Road at 7.46pm on Wednesday, October 8.

LAS sent an ambulance crew and a clinical team manager to the scene and the first paramedic arrived in less than four minutes.

The spokesman said: “We treated a man for a head injury and took him to hospital as a priority.”
