The trip, in which Catherine traveled without her husband Prince William, saw the future Queen hold talks and visits about her passion and work for children’s early development. He was welcomed yesterday by the city’s mayor, Marco Massari, as he began his tour with the Royal Foundation Early Childhood Centre.
Catherine, 44, spent time meeting the public at these crowds and showed off her impressive skills by communicating with locals in their native language.
The princess also demonstrated her ability to communicate with children, meeting many young people.
While Catherine is usually accompanied by her husband on royal trips abroad, that wasn’t the case this year as William instead stayed at the family’s Forest Lodge home with the couple’s three children.
