Ponguleti Denies Rift With Surekha

WARANGAL: Addressing media persons at a press conference in Medaram, Mulugu district, revenue and Warangal minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Monday dismissed speculations of a political rift between him and endowments minister Konda Surekha.
The rumors gained traction when minister Surekha did not attend an important review meeting on temple development works attended by ministers Srinivas Reddy and Seethakka (panchayat raj minister).
Responding to the reports, Srinivas Reddy categorically denied that Surekha or any of her cabinet colleagues had complained about him to the party high command.
“Everyone knows who Srinivas Reddy is. I am not someone who chases contractual benefits. I need not miss a job with a ₹7 crore contract,” he said.
Pointing out that all development work is being carried out in line with the vision of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, he added that he will continue to attend review meetings with ministers Seethakka and Surekha in the coming days.
Drawing an analogy, he said that the two women ministers were like the deities Sammakka and Saralamma and reiterated that they all united in ensuring the success of Maha Jatara. However, the joint presence of Srinivas Reddy and Seethakka in Medaram without Surekha remained a matter of political debate amid reports of internal differences within the party.
