Poole: Cops issue CCTV of man as girl ‘sexually assaulted’ | UK | News

In late January, a girl was reportedly sexually assaulted on a bus in a British seaside town; This incident led to the police objecting to the CCTV. Dorset Police officers are investigating an alleged incident on a bus in Poole.

In the appeal published on March 9, the police said that at around 19.50 on Sunday, January 25, a young girl was on the No. 8 More Bus in the Hamworthy area when a man approached her and kissed her on the cheek. The officer reportedly then returned to his seat.

Police have released CCTV footage of a man they wish to identify in connection with their investigation.

Police appealed for witnesses and urged anyone with information to contact officers.

Constable Alice Beavon, of Poole police, said: “This was a distressing incident for the young victim and we are carrying out a full investigation into what happened.”

He continued: “I am now in a position to release CCTV footage of a man whom we are trying to identify as part of our investigations and would urge anyone with information about his identity to please contact us.”
