Pope Leo pleads for end to ‘pandemic of arms’ after Minnesota shooting

Papa Leo, the first US -born US leader of the Global Catholic Church, prayed for a mass shooting at a Minnesota Catholic school that killed two children on August 27th on Sunday.
English -speaking Leo, St. “Our prayers for the victims of tragic shooting during a school mass in the US state of Minnesota (GO).” He said.
“Let us beg to stop the epidemic of the big and small arms, which is infected with our world.” He said.
After the death of Late Pope Francis, Leo was elected a Pope by the world cardinals in May. He showed a different style to his predecessor, rarely spoke from the headline, and often chose a more cautious tone in his public objections.
The appeal of Sunday was a rare example of the Pope’s own native language in English. Leo usually prefers to use Italian with a papal language.
