A popular restaurant in Manchester city center has abruptly announced its closure, with bosses making the announcement in a “heartbreaking” social media post.

House of Fu announced the closure of its Manchester city center restaurant in a post shared on Instagram today (Friday 27 February), saying the closure will come into force tomorrow, Saturday 28 February. House of Fu, which has another branch in Leeds city center to remain open, said: “Manchester PSA! We are very sorry to announce that we will be closing House of Fu on Portland Street on Saturday 28 February and that this will be our last weekend serving the good people of Manchester.”
