Power ministry asks PSUs to explore one WFH day a week

New Delhi: The power ministry has advised public sector undertakings (PSUs) to explore the possibility of allowing employees to work from home for one day a week, people aware of the development said.

According to the consultant, power sector PSUs have been asked to assess operational feasibility and allow up to 20% of employees to work remotely on any given day, where possible, one of the people said.

The power ministry oversees many central public sector enterprises, including NTPC Limited, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, NHPC Limited, REC Limited and Power Finance Corporation.
