Trump has meltdown over health fears as he launches 500 word rant – ‘Treason!’ | World | News

Donald Trump issued an angry statement in response to reports of growing health concerns. The US president delivered a 488-word speech on social media platform Truth Social, in which he once again claimed to have ended many wars and revived his country’s economy.

Mr Trump wrote: “There has never been a President who works harder than I do! My hours are the longest and my results are among the best.” The Republican also boasted about creating tighter border security and cracking down on immigration.

He said this “created an ‘aura’ around the United States that made every Country in the world respect us more than ever before.”

Mr Trump later addressed rumors about his health amid concerns that his cognitive abilities were declining.

Claiming that he received “EXCELLENT Grades” on his last medical exam and “ACED on all three” of his cognitive exams, he called it “treason” to suggest otherwise.

He wrote: “In addition to all of this, I go out of my way to take long, extensive, and very tedious Medical Exams at Great Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, seen and supervised by top doctors who all give me PERFECT Scores. Some have even said they have never seen such Strong Results before. I do these Tests because I owe it to our Country.”

“In addition to the medical exam, I did something no other President has done on three separate occasions, the last of which was recently by taking an exam known as the Cognitive Exam, something few people, including those who work at the New York Times, can do very well, and I performed an ASED on all three in front of numerous doctors and specialists, most of whom I did not know.”

This comes after a doctor and Democratic Senate candidate claimed Mr. Trump had a “cognitive deficit” following the president’s latest MRI.

Abdul El-Sayed told Briefing with Jen Psaki: “If you have forgotten why you need the MRI, this points to a specific cognitive deficit that we have seen in the course of its actions over the last year and will continue to see.

“This is concerning for many reasons… our country’s leadership and this poor leadership is about to send a lot of people into an area where they can’t get the MRIs they need.”
