President lands in Beijing with Tesla, Nvidia CEOs

US President Donald Trump went to Beijing for the highly anticipated presidential summit with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.
Trump is accompanied on this trip by executives of some of America’s most valuable companies, including Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Nvidia boss Jensen Huang.
The President was greeted on the tarmac by a marching band and flag-waving people as he descended the stairs of Air Force One.
On Thursday, Trump is scheduled to attend a welcome ceremony and hold a bilateral meeting with Xi before touring the historic site. Temple of Heaven and attending a state banquet.
He will leave China on Friday after having tea and a working lunch with Xi.
High-stakes talks between the two leaders are expected to cover tariffs, rare earths, artificial intelligence, the Iran war and Taiwan. Experts predict that once the meetings end, Trump and Xi may announce a large order of American aircraft and soybeans from China.
In Real Social to post On Monday, Trump said he expected “great things” to come from the summit.
Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., who recently traveled to China with a congressional delegation, said Wednesday on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” that “it’s in the interest of both leaders to keep the relationship stable and to reduce tensions, not division.”
“We’re hoping for some kind of trade deal to emerge, I think it will be Boeing, beef and beans,” Daines said.
