Prince George turns 13 today and here’s his best moments | Royal | News
Prince George is marking a new milestone today as he turns 13, and the young royal is expected to have a very special day for him. The future King will no doubt be spoiled by his parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and as he enters his teenage years he will likely spend the day with his family, including his siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
George’s grandparents, the King and Queen, and the Middletons are likely to send their best wishes to their grandchild today. Here, as the second in line to the British throne celebrates his special day, the Daily Express takes a look back at some of his best moments.
Prince George’s christening
He was christened at St James’s Palace in London on 23 October 2018 – just three months after his birth. William’s close friend Hugh Grosvenor, Duke of Westminster, was chosen as George’s godfather, along with Oliver Baker, Emilia Jardine-Paterson, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, Julia Samuel, Zara Tindall (William’s cousin) and William van Cutsem.

Prince George at Uniting Color in 2015
George made his Connect the Colors debut in June 2015, a few weeks shy of his second birthday. The future King had already become a big brother by then, following the birth of Princess Charlotte a month earlier. Royal fans were delighted to see the royal in a light blue shirt with white ruffles and matching shorts, looking identical to the outfit William wore when he was two in 1984. The historic day marked the first time the late Queen, now King Charles, Prince William and Prince George appeared in public together.

Prince George in Canada in 2016
William and Catherine also took George to Canada when they visited the country in 2016. Charlotte also joined them on the trip, which was their first official royal tour. George, then three years old, wore a navy blue jumper, red shorts and navy blue socks when he first arrived in the country.
