Prince Harry and Meghan Markle make first joint appearance of 2026 | Royal | News

Meghan looked chic in an all-black ensemble that included dark trousers, a turtleneck top and black shoes. Harry looked equally dapper in jeans, brown Chelsea boots and a dark jacket.
Cookie Queens is a documentary about four girls “trying to become the best-selling ‘Cookie Queen’ running an $800 million business where childhood and ambition collide.”
Harry and Meghan serve as executive producers through their media company Archewell Productions.
The couple was seen together with Robert Redford’s daughter Amy Redford, Sundance Film Festival director Eugene Hernandez and filmmaker Alysa Nahmias, who attended the premiere. Meghan was also spotted chatting with the girls featured in the documentary.
This is the first time the Sussex couple have appeared together after a busy week for the Duke. Harry has been in the UK all week to attend the hearing against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL).
The duke is one of seven people, including Sir Elton John, Baroness Doreen Lawrence and Liz Hurley, to sue the broadcaster over allegations of illegal doxxing.
ANL categorically denies any wrongdoing and defends the allegations.
Giving evidence for nearly two hours on Wednesday, the Duke appeared emotional as he told the court that ANL had made his wife Meghan Markle’s life “absolute misery”.
In court, the duke said the case against ANL felt like a “repetitive traumatic experience” and “a repeat of the past”, adding: “I have never believed that my life was off season being commercialized by these people.”
In written submissions to the hearing, ANL’s Antony White KC said the broadcaster “strongly denies” there was any unlawful collection of information, including the interception of voicemails directed at the Duke.
He said the articles “stemmed entirely legitimately from a variety of information provided by members of the Duke of Sussex’s social circle, press officers and contacts of responsible journalists, including journalists, freelance journalists, photographers and previous reports.”
