The podcast showed them discussing a variety of topics, from the Invictus Games to trauma and exercise, and even more personal questions. This included Harry’s care routine, his job and his children. Although some elements of the conversation were serious, much of the conversation was filled with humor, which one expert believed was good for the duke.

Speaking exclusively to The Daily Express, brand and culture expert Nick Ede said the podcast appearance showed us a side of Harry, 41, that first attracted Meghan Markle in 2016.

Ede said: “This is exactly the kind of look Prince Harry needs.

“We often see him through the lens of legal battles, family tensions and serious interviews, but here we saw a much more natural, relaxed and genuinely funny side of him.

“He reminded people of the Prince Harry that so many people connected with all those years ago – someone who was warm, cocky and could laugh at himself, and Meghan saw that in him.”

Charles welcomed Meghan and Harry’s children to his Highgrove home in the afternoon, following days of speculation about whether the family reunion would take place.

Seven-year-old Archie and five-year-old Lilibet last saw their grandfather in 2022, when Queen Elizabeth II visited them. They saw it for themselves during Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The group is understood to include the Queen, who has a private home near the King’s Gloucestershire estate.

The meeting between Charles and the young prince and princess is likely to be interpreted as a sign that the relationship between the King and his son Harry is thawing.

The pair had been estranged for a time, particularly after Harry criticized his father, stepmother Camilla, brother the Prince of Wales and sister-in-law Kate in an Oprah interview, Netflix documentary, interviews and his autobiography Spare after leaving the monarchy six years ago.

It is not known exactly when the family left England.
