Prince William announces huge royal visit for tomorrow – and Prince George could join him | Royal | News

He will also present the cup to the winners after the match. The future King has previously brought his eldest son Prince George to football matches, so it is possible that father and son will take to the field tomorrow. George attended the FA Cup final in 2024 and surprised royal fans with his appearance.
He was not in the 2025 match. The palace has not confirmed whether he will join his father tomorrow.
The last time father and son attended a football match together was last January, when they cheered on William’s favorite Aston Villa as they played against FC Salzburg in Birmingham.
The prince pictured himself pumping his fists in the air before celebrating with Aston Villa players in the dressing room.
He was seen cheering from the stands during their 4-0 win against Nottingham Forest, which took them 4-1 on aggregate and set up a meeting with Freiburg in the final on 20 May.
William is a passionate Villa supporter and has followed the Midlands club since he was a student.
He was born less than a month after Villa’s most famous continental success, when they beat Bayern Munich to lift the European Cup in May 1982.
It is not yet known whether the prince will go to Istanbul for the final this month.
