Prince William reveals his favourite Christmas song – and it’s so odd | Royal | News

While the country’s favorite Christmas songs are normally classics like All I Want for Christmas Is You, Baby It’s Cold Outside and Last Christmas, Prince William’s song of choice is far from traditional.
The Prince of Wales revealed all this during his Christmas interview with young children for the Royal Marsden Hospital radio station. During the chat, William also talked about the festive film and the board game he didn’t play with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
William, President of The Royal Marsden since 2007, admitted his choice was “a bit different” when asked about his favorite song during the holidays.
Prince William, who has been Patron of the Royal Marsden since 2007, told host Barry Alston: “For this particular chat with Barry, I will say that ‘Feliz Navidad’ is my favorite Christmas song because it’s a bit different.”
He continued: “I would also say Mariah Carey, whom I love very much. It’s a good name and of course there are others, but I think I’ll go with ‘Feliz Navidad’. It’s a little more cheerful.”
But that wasn’t the end of the Prince’s appearance on the programme, as he also told young listeners that he was a huge fan of one of the most popular Christmas movies of all time.
William said: “I should probably say it’s Elf. It’s hilarious and I keep watching it every Christmas and it still makes me laugh.”
Alongside this, George talked about the classic board game he played with Charlotte and Louis and said he enjoyed it because it made everyone so “angry”.
When asked what his family’s favorite board game is, William explained: “We play a lot of board games with the kids. We like Monopoly, it’s good and Risk, have you played Risk before? It’s a good board game, it lasts for hours and everyone usually gets very angry because they lose. But I like to play it.”
The Royal Marsden held a special place in William’s heart for many years, as his late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, previously chaired the hospital. In early 2025, Prince William and Princess Catherine were officially announced as joint royal patrons of the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.
