Princess Beatrice set for huge snub as it’s ‘hard to imagine’ King invite to huge event | Royal | News

His father was stripped of his titles and honors by the King last year, and his humiliating reputation came to a head last month when he was arrested on his birthday on suspicion of abuse of public office. Andrew was detained for 11 hours before being released under investigation. He has always denied any wrongdoing.
Beatrice and her sister Princess Eugenie were said to be unaffected by their father’s scandal.
Last Christmas, King Charles was praised for his kind nature after both sisters joined the rest of the Royal Family at Sandringham.
But this year, things will be different for the York brothers, who will be spending the special day away from Norfolk, according to the royal commentator.
Daily Mail‘s daily editor, Richard Eden, claimed it was “very hard to imagine” Beatrice and Eugenie receiving a Christmas invitation to Sandrnigham this year.
He said on the Palace Confidential podcast: “I personally find it hard to imagine them at Sandringham and certainly not in the traditional walk to the church where they greet the public because, you know, that’s when they say, ‘This is the Royal Family, we’re on display.’

“And that’s very hard to imagine. I mean, remember they were invited last year. It was the king who tried to embrace them and show them his support.”
Mr Eden added that the most likely scenario for this year would be for Beatrice and Eugenie to announce they would spend Christmas with their husbands’ families rather than avoid conflict.
The two princesses have not commented publicly about their father’s scandal.
