Princess Catherine has allegedly had a surprising reaction to the Royal Family drama surrounding Prince Harry. Harry’s open criticism of the Royal Family, including over the publication of his memoir Spare, has angered his estranged brother Prince William, a royal author has said.

However, although William was furious at Harry for what he had done, he is believed to have been calmed by Princess Catherine, the wife of the first in line to the throne. In Russell Myers’ book William and Catherine: The Monarchy’s New Era: The Inside Story, the author claimed: “He (Prince William) felt so betrayed by Harry that he swore never to speak to him again.

“He was so angry that he told one of his most trusted aides that he ‘had absolutely no time to entertain either of them.’ [Harry and Meghan]’.”

While William was furious, Catherine is thought to have approached the situation more calmly and adopted a “this too shall pass” mentality.

“His attitude was consistently ‘this too shall pass,’” Myers wrote.

“Whenever William would get upset about it, he would calm the situation down and bring them back to what was most important to them.

“This is their family and what they do.”

It is unknown when the brothers last saw each other; It is believed William has no plans to see Harry anytime soon.
