Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice enjoy lunch together in Mayfair, before meeting up with Jack Brooksbank in Notting Hill… as sisters make rare joint public appearance after Epstein fallout

There is no better friend and safety net than a sister, or so the saying goes.
But this is clearly true for Princess Beatrice and Eugenie, who still have a warm and close relationship after months of pain caused by their parents and the Epstein Files.
The siblings, whose parents are both in hiding, were spotted enjoying the Spring sunshine in central London on Thursday after having lunch together at the exclusive and stylish Soho Mews House in Mayfair.
Hours later, happy Eugenie, 36, was smiling again as she enjoyed a date night with husband Jack Brooksbank, 39, at a Michelin-starred bistro in Notting Hill.
Eugenie is known to be a very doting parent who has spoken repeatedly about the joys of motherhood.
But she and her husband of seven years also seemed to enjoy their night without their son. August is five and Ernest is two.
The mother of two wore a long, loose-fitting black dress and khaki shirt, while Jack left the Dorian Restaurant in jeans, sneakers, a dark jacket and a wide smile on his face.
Hours earlier, Beatrice and Eugenie, who have rarely met in public since the Epstein scandal rocked the House of York, were chatting animatedly as they walked through Mayfair near Hanover Square.

The sisters were spotted in Mayfair after leaving a casual lunch at Soho Mews House.
Beatrice was holding her cell phone as she walked down the street.
One witness said they appeared to be ‘in a great mood as they made the most of the sunshine’.
While her younger York sister led the way wearing a light summer jacket and bag, Beatrice, 37, followed her down a narrow path, clutching her mobile phone.
Tourists strolling through London’s most exclusive district appeared unaware that they were leaving the royal family behind.
A few hours later, Eugenie went out to dinner, her husband leaving their young son at home.
The couple, who split their time between a villa in Portugal and a cottage in Kensington Palace, affectionately call their sons Augie and Ernie.
Eugenie and Jack enjoyed a date night at the Michelin-starred Dorian.

Neither of them were seen with their parents.
A royal source recently told the Daily Mail that the ever-dutiful Beatrice, in particular, found herself walking a tightrope, torn between filial loyalty and her desire to maintain her status as ninth in line to the throne within the Royal Family.
The more feisty Eugenie, meanwhile, is said to have taken a tougher stance on her beleaguered father – although there were reports in February that she was helping her mother with somewhere to stay in Doha during a business trip.
It’s been a busy time for Eugenie, who was spotted at a high society wedding in Sicily a week ago.
The Princess attended the wedding of hotel tycoon Sir Rocco Forte’s son Charles and bag designer Georgie Wright at Montreal Cathedral on Saturday, April 25.

It is not known whether Eugenie was accompanied by her children or husband at the star-studded wedding of 350 people, whose guests included Lady Lola Bute and Tish Weinstock.
He has been keeping a low profile since embarrassing revelations about his family were revealed when the Epstein files were released in January.
Before the wedding, she was last seen at a birthday dinner with husband Jack Brooksbank at the River Cafe in west London in February.
Her mother, Sarah Ferguson, has become even more elusive since the Epstein scandal.

The sisters are lining up to appear in the official car procession and Royal Enclosure at the racing festival this June.
Despite their father’s surprising decline in recent years, Charles is said to still love his nephews and will allow them to attend royal events in the future.
Neither Beatrice nor Eugenie are believed to have visited Andrew, 66, during his exile at Sandringham, which left him contenting with a smaller house at Marsh Farm before moving into his new home at Easter.
Meanwhile, Eugenie’s mother is looking for a new shelter.
According to sources with knowledge of her recent stay in Austria, Fergie barely left her two-bedroom first-floor chalet overlooking the stunningly beautiful lake and was never seen on the large balcony.
He ordered all his meals from room service; Bresaola steak with mozzarella and chicken breast were said to be favorites.
Sources close to Fergie say she remains in constant phone contact with her daughters, princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, as they both become increasingly concerned about her mental health.
