Indian Air Force Group captain Shubhanshu Shukla said that it is a privilege to join a few elite people who saw the planet from space on Thursday.
“When I entered the international space station and when I met this crew, welcome to your doors like your home doors.
Shukla said he was looking forward to an exciting two -week scientific cooperation and discovery at the International Space Station.
“I think this is great, this is great, and I am very sure that the next 14 days will be incredible, that it will advance science and research and will work together.”
In the early hours today, the Captain of the Indian Air Force Group Shubhanshu Shukla and three Axiom Mission 4 (AX-4) crew members officially entered the International Space Station (ISS).
Group captain Shubhanshu Shukla’s visit to the International Space Station, which follows the footprints of Cosmonaut Raqesh Sharma, who made his historical flight in 1984, marked him as the second Indian traveling to space.
