Los Angeles: Actor Priyanka Chopra is making India proud with her ever-growing global presence, and how! A few days after she played the lead role in the international film ‘The Bluff’, it was announced on Friday that Priyanka will be one of the presenters of this year’s Oscar ceremony. Expressing her happiness with this honor, Priyanka shared this exciting update with her fans and followers on Instagram. She simply captioned the post, “2026 Academy Awards.”
The update has surely delighted his fans, friends, family and members of the Hindi and Hollywood film fraternity. Famous stand-up comedian Zakir Khan commented, “Congratulations! you are our hero.” Hrithik Roshan reacted with appreciation to PeeCee’s post. “I’m so proud,” one netizen commented. In addition to Priyanka, the newly announced hosts include Robert Downey Jr., Anne Hathaway, Paul Mescal, Will Arnett and Gwyneth Paltrow. According to Variety, the show’s executive producer and showrunner Raj Kapoor and executive producer Katy Mullan announced that the group are the third official presenters to join the upcoming ceremony. Previously announced Oscar presenters include Adrien Brody, Javier Bardem, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Chase Infiniti, Mikey Madison, Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Maya Rudolph and Zoe Saldana.
Although Mescal and Infiniti were not nominated individually for their roles in “Hamnet” and “One Battle After Another”, both films were recognized by the Academy; “Hamnet” received eight nominations and “One War Then Another” received 13 nominations. The 98th Academy Awards will be held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 15.
