Pro cyclist dies from ‘medical complications’ after crash in race, team says

A professional cyclist who was injured in an accident during a race in France last week died.
30-year-old Cristian Camilo Munoz suffered a knee injury after crashing in the Tour de Jura for Nu Colombia.
But his team said he contracted a “difficult-to-treat infection” that led to his death. According to BBC.

“Today we say goodbye to Cristian Munoz, the cyclist who made every kilometer a testament to passion, discipline and heart,” Nu Colombia said in a statement. he said. “His story doesn’t end there and reminds us that dreams are set foot on every day, even when the roads get harder.
