President Donald Trump announced Friday night on Truth Social that he was withdrawing his support and endorsement of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, calling her a “crazy lunatic” and accusing the Georgia Republican of “complaining” rather than celebrating what he described as the “record accomplishments” of his own administration.

The president claimed that Greene “told many people that she was sorry I was no longer returning their phone calls” in a lengthy post in which she pledged “Complete and Unyielding Support” to any conservative primary candidate heading into the 2026 midterm elections.

Trump claimed Greene had “gone too far to the Left” during a recent appearance on The View and gave her the new nickname “Loon Marjorie.”

Greene has been one of Trump’s most vocal allies since entering Congress in 2021; she supported him during his many impeachment attempts and campaigned with him in red states.

“It all seemed to start when I sent him a Poll saying he shouldn’t run for Senator or Governor, he was at 12% and had no chance (unless he got my Endorsement, which he wasn’t about to get!),” the president wrote.

“I’ve told many people that I’m sorry I’m no longer returning their calls, but with 219 Congressmen/women, 53 U.S. Senators, 24 Cabinet Members, nearly 200 Countries, and having to live a normal life, I can’t answer the call of a screaming Madman every day,” Trump added.

Rep. Greene quickly responded on social media, writing to X: “President Trump attacked me and lied about me.”

“I never called him, but I sent these text messages today,” Greene said, attaching screenshots of the text messages. “Apparently that’s what’s driving him crazy. The Epstein files. And of course he’s coming after me to set an example to scare all the other Republicans before they vote next week to release the Epstein files. It’s really surprising how hard he’s fighting to keep the Epstein files from coming out, and that he’s actually gotten to this level.”

In her post, Greene appeared to close the door on any future business relationship with President Trump, writing: “I supported President Trump with much of my precious time and my own money, and fought harder for him even when nearly every other Republican turned away and blamed him.”

“But I do not worship or serve Donald Trump,” Greene wrote. “I worship God, Jesus is my savior, and I serve my GA14 district and the American people.”

After praising his administration’s success since the start of his second term this January, the president quipped: “Just 12 months ago she went from being a DEAD Country to the “HOTEST” Country anywhere in the world (and so much more!), all “Loon” Marjorie does is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!

Trump’s move could open the door to Georgia Republicans looking to challenge Greene in the ruby red district next year.

The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
