Pro-Reza Pahlavi protest outside British PM Keir Starmer’s residence and Iranian embassy in London – The Economic Times Video

On January 11, thousands of people in Iran protested against regime change in front of the residence of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Protesters were seen waving flags in support of the exiled son of the last Shah of Iran on the streets of London. The crowd marched from the Iranian Embassy to Downing Street, some carrying banners supporting Reza Pahlavi. Reza Pahlavi is the exiled son of Iran’s last shah and a leading voice in opposition to Khamenei. The development comes as Iran is witnessing unrest in which more than 500 people have died in protests, Reuters reported, citing the rights group. Meanwhile, US President Trump warned Tehran that the US would “hit Iran hard” if any protesters were killed. Later, in response to Trump’s warning, Tehran threatened to target US military bases if POTUS threatened to intervene on behalf of protesters.
