Casey Wasserman selling talent agency after Ghislaine Maxwell emails: report

High-profile sports and talent manager Casey Wasserman announced to employees that he will sell his talent agency following recently released emails between him and Ghislaine Maxwell, The Associated Press reported Saturday.
In 2003, Maxwell exchanged flirtatious emails with Jeffrey Epstein, said Wasserman, founder and CEO of the Wasserman Agency and chairman of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics organizing committee.‘s According to the latest documents published by the Ministry of Justice, his right-hand man is a woman.
The memo comes days after the LA28 board of directors met to discuss Wasserman’s appearance in the Epstein files. The committee said this, and an outside law firm reviewed Wasserman’s interactions with Epstein and Maxwell and Wasserman’s full cooperation.

“We found that Mr. Wasserman’s relationship with Epstein and Maxwell did not extend beyond what has already been publicly documented,” the committee said in a statement, adding that Wasserman “must continue to lead LA28 and deliver safe and successful games.”
Wasserman had previously said that in 2002, at the invitation of the Clinton Foundation, he flew to Africa on a humanitarian mission on Epstein’s private plane. In a memo to staff, he said his interactions with Maxwell and Epstein were limited and that he regretted the emails.
“This was years before their criminal behavior came to light and consisted entirely of a humanitarian trip to Africa and a handful of emails that I deeply regret sending. And I am heartbroken that my brief contact with them 23 years ago has caused you, this company, and its customers so much hardship in the final days and weeks,” the memo said. It was said.

“I never had a personal or business relationship with Jeffrey Epstein,” Wasserman previously said in a statement. “As is well documented, I was on a humanitarian trip aboard the Epstein plane as part of a Clinton Foundation delegation in 2002. I deeply regret having any association with either of them.”
United States women’s national soccer team legend Abby Wambach announced her departure from the agency earlier this week. Chappell Roan also left the agency.
In email exchanges, Wasserman told Maxwell: “I think about you all the time. So what do I have to do to see you in a tight leather outfit?” Another sighting showed Maxwell asking Wasserman if it would be foggy enough during an upcoming visit: “So you can float naked on the beach and no one can see you unless you’re close?” Wasserman responded “or something like that.”
