Rocket Lab (RKLB) Q1 earnings 2026

Rocket LabShares had their best day ever, up 34% after the space company reached its peak first quarter announced revenue forecasts and biggest launch deal on record.
The Long Beach, California-based company reported revenue of $136.7 million from its space systems business and $63.7 million from its launch segment. This topped FactSet estimates of $132.1 million and $59 million, respectively. Rocket Lab’s backlog more than doubled from a year ago to $2.2 billion.
The guidance also beat Wall Street’s forecasts. The company expects revenue of $225 million to $240 million in the second quarter, compared to LSEG’s $207.5 million.
Shares of Rocket Lab have more than quadrupled in the past year, benefiting from rapidly growing demand for businesses tied to the space economy ahead of SpaceX’s highly anticipated IPO later this year. Demand for space systems and satellites is also increasing as President Donald Trump pursues the ambitious Golden Dome project and NASA’s crewed Artemis missions accelerate.
