With a major change promising to accelerate the US airport security lines, the internal security secretary Kristi Noem announced on Tuesday that travelers would no longer have to remove their shoes during the Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) screenings. Noem, a new pilot program, updated scanning equipment shows that passengers provide an efficient perception without requiring the shoes of the passengers, he said. “TSA will no longer require travelers to take off their shoes when they pass the security checkpoints, Noem Noem said in a press briefing. “The new technology keeps our airports safe and makes travel less annoying.”
