Provincial elections | Sol Zanetti and Etienne Grandmont will be candidates again for Québec solidaire
Solidarity deputies Sol Zanetti and Etienne Grandmont will be on the starting line to try to retain their respective constituencies during the next provincial elections.

The spokesperson for Québec solidaire and MP for Jean-Lesage and the MP for Taschereau were unanimously designated as candidates Tuesday evening by party members.
The election was held during a joint nomination meeting which took place at the Victoria Social Club, in the Saint-Roch district of Quebec.
“More than ever, I want to continue to work with rigor and dedication to carry forward the struggles that we have started together,” said Mr. Zanetti in a press release.
Sol Zanetti was first elected in his constituency in 2018, before being reappointed as deputy in 2022.
For his part, Mr. Grandmont, who is running for a second term, affirmed that being a candidate again under the solidarity banner is a “real privilege”.
“It is a valuable recognition of the work accomplished with the various agents of change present in my constituency,” he underlined.
