PS5 Update Quietly Adds Welcome PS Store Feature for Some

Sony has introduced a PS5 system feature that shows a game’s launch price on the PlayStation Store, clarifying past prices for buyers. The PS5 update expands PS Store features as well as adding price history from last October, which shows if the current price is the lowest in 30 days. The new launch price view also indicates roughly how long the starting price is on offer. The rollout appears to be new and limited, and the feature currently only appears on console. The fact that the option did not appear in the checks made in the web store and PS App indicates that a phased version is not yet available to all users.
