Pub renamed The George Orwell and projects ‘Big Brother is watching you’ slogan to punters in protest over Labour’s digital ID cards

A pub was renamed George Orwell to protest Labour’s plans for new digital identity cards.

With Sir Keir Starmer’s face, signage was placed in the building of the branded James Atherton Booker, the new Brighton, Merseyside.

George Orwell’s dystopic novel in 1984 ‘Savaş Is Peace’ and ‘Freedom Slavery’ expressions such as images were reflected next to the building.

In others, the Prime Minister is depicted as the leader of the state of Oceania, while ‘Big Brother is watching you’ before a big eye appears.

The host Daniel Davies said that Britain changed the name of the pub because he was afraid that he could be ‘very Orwellian’.

“You can claim that all this will be good in the right hands,” he said. But in the wrong hands – and you see it in places like Hong Kong – they can be very Orwellian.

Who has access to your data? How to use it? Is it sold to any third party? ‘

Mr. Davies added: ‘The government did not have a good past in the budget and which worked.

“ I think high street banking is gone, the closure of post office, the closure of pharmacies will cause too much confusion for the elderly.

‘The most important thing I want to do is to cause a conversation; Questioning people and not only with anything brought – especially civil freedoms and things that have a comprehensive impact on your data. ‘

The Prime Minister announced the plans of employment to impose compulsory cards for all adults until the end of this parliament last Friday.

Sir Keir said that the controversial cards held on people’s phone would be a ‘tremendous opportunity’ for England and would make it more difficult to work illegally.

But Mr. Davies is less than convinced of the reasons behind the movement.

He said: ‘he dresses like a interest in migration, I think it is quite controversial.

And frankly, there are other things that need to focus, such as looking at some of the basic labor values. Keir Starmer has a lot to focus on, and that’s not one of them. ‘

When the prime minister was asked that he would not be welcomed in the re -named PUB, Mr. Davies said he would open its doors to the politicians of all parties.

He said: ‘Of course I would let Keir Starmer enter Pub. I would allow anyone to allow it on any side because what we need is discussed.

‘We live in the echo rooms where people are only following that they agreed, but open, healthy discussions are really important.’

Digital identity will become compulsory as a means of proving the right to work under plans, but people will not be asked to carry or produce it.

Sir Keir’s proposed new plan was called ‘non -British’ by Nigel Farage, who warned that he would not stop illegal immigrants and provide more control to the state.

Mr. Farage, Daily Express last week to check the population of the so -called ‘Brit card’ measure ‘, what we can do or tell us, even where we go and what we spend, he said.

He said: ‘We should have had a vaccine identity to travel during my pande and do various things. Did he stop spreading this pande? No, it didn’t.

‘All he made was to apply cost and discomfort to the general population.

‘Why do you trust the government to have big data banks about how we live?’
