Public grievance petitions received under ‘Ungaludan Stalin’ programme found floating on Vaigai river

On Friday, August 29, 2025, in the Thirupuvanam in Sivaganga region, the petitions received from the public were found under the public under the ‘Ungaludan Stalin’ program on the Vaigai River.

Many people were sending petitions in camps, hoping that they would receive fast solutions, as Prime Minister MK Stalin announced that these petitions would be resolved within a maximum of 45 days.

However, the petitions sent through the camps were shocked when there were floating in the river.

The sources said that most of the petitions in the river are for Patta transfers and computer name corrections. The village administrative officer and income inspector, including the signatures of the authorities were copies.

Sivaganganga Collector’s Answer

Responding to the incident Sivaganga Regional Collector K. Porkodi, said the police will be held against the people related to the incident, he said.
