Clean Drinking Water For Every Home In 3 Years: Minister Narayana

Vijayawada: Municipal Administration Minister Ponguru Narayana said that on Friday, the state government would supply clean drinking water to every household in Andhra Pradesh in three years.
Narayana, “Swachh andhra to obtain a percentage percent, but more public consciousness and active citizen will be able to participate in the protection of cleaning,” he said.
On Friday, the Minister addressed the oath of the newly appointed Swachh andhra Corporation directors in Tummalapalli Kalakshetram in Vijayawada. He said that Prime Minister Naidu gives the highest priority in providing basic services such as safe water, solid and liquid waste management, road and lighting to each company, municipality and Panchayat.
Narayana remembered that CM had directed the removal of 85 lakh tons of garbage left behind by the previous government until October 2.
The Minister said that the state has adopted the best global practices in waste management and how Japan, Russia and China gave examples. Waste-energy plants are developed in large cities to replace casting gardens and convert the garbage into electricity.
The authority announced that the tenders within the scope of the Amrut program will be invited soon and the new executives called for waste management to focus on creating wealth of waste and spreading awareness.
Swachh andhra Corporation President Kommareddy Pattabhiram praised the government for scrapping the waste tax and placing the five cities of Andhra Pradesh on the cleanest of the country. Swachh andhra Corporation General Manager Anil Kumar Redy, cleaning drivers, as part of the national swachhta Hello Seva campaign will be held from 17 September to October 2, he said.
Swachh andhra’s fourteen new executives swore at the ceremony and were felit by the minister.
