The Syrian state media reported that the Israeli army strikes in the same region the day before, and that Israel had killed six Syrian soldiers who found listening and espionage devices there. The state media is in the process of removing the devices when the soldiers were killed.
Israeli warplanes and drones, after the Israeli forces left the site, the Syrian forces prevented the region from entering the region until the end of Wednesday night.
It was unclear what Israeli soldiers were doing at the base. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said in X that the forces were “operating in all war zones for the security of Israel day and night, but otherwise he did not make any explanation.
The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned strikes and called them as a violation of international law and a violation of the sovereignty of the country.
After the transfer of Assad in December last year, Israel strikes dozens of strikes on weapons warehouses and military bases. He also pushed the Platonic Bumper region, which separates the two countries and established military bases there.
Israel warned the new Syrian government, led by Ahmed Al-Sharaa, the former leader of Islamist rebels, that it would not allow it to use force to Southern Syria.
Israel’s strikes on Syria stopped after warning Israel about their “reasonable de in Syria until the sectarian conflicts erupted in the Drze-Majority regions in Southern Syria in June of US President Donald Trump. Syria and Israel have technically fought since 1948 and have no diplomatic relations. In 1974, the two countries signed an UN agreement between the two countries, a buffer zone.
Israel said that after Assad was overthrown, it evaluated the 1974 agreement as invalid and crossed the bumper area. Syrian officials said they wanted to use the 1974 agreement as a starting point in negotiations between the two countries.
The United States, which mediates negotiations between the two countries, said that Syria could normalize relations with Israel at the end of Syria and hoped that Ibrahim could participate in its agreements. Syrian officials said this was a final possibility, but stressed that the current talks focus only on security problems.
In an interview with the US new website Axios, Barrack warned that the two countries have “mutual intent and desire, but there is still more work right now ,, that it will take time for a security agreement.
