M60 traffic LIVE: Trafford Centre chaos as police incident sparks delays – motorway closed | UK | News

Traffic queues are forming on the M60 near Manchester as the motorway is closed in both directions. The closure affects J11 Eccles and J10 Trafford Park. All traffic was stopped in both directions.

The closure stems from an incident caused by the police. While traffic congestion and delays are reported, drivers are asked to stay away from the area.

Greater Manchester Police is currently operating alongside other emergency services. National Highways said the M60 was also closed between J12 Winton and J10 Trafford.
