RSS general secretary hails “unwavering” public support for the Sangh through its 100-year journey

Rashtria Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), on October 2, on Vijayadashami with Gandhi Jayanti on 2 October, will be completed for 100 years, the organization’s Secretary General Dattatreya Hosabale, Sangh’s journey faced with the difficulties and said that the country required to work in a difficult way, but said.

In a letter shared with the media, Mr. Hosabale said that the progress of Sangh is always based on the continuous support of society. He added that since his work complies with the soul of people, the acceptance has grown steadily over time.

Support from religious leaders

Bay Hosabale, who shared his work to rise the Hindu society of Sangh, explained how the former congress leader Karan Singh participated in the social awakening case of RSS. Founded in 1964, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) praised for Sangh for getting great support from religious leaders. Recalling the ‘ban’ placed in Sangh’s activities for political reasons, Hosabale said that not only ordinary people, but also the respectable figures in the society are openly stopped by the organization and encouraged them at these difficult times.

“The same happened during the emergency situation. Therefore, despite so many obstacles, Sangh’s work continued in a smooth and stable way. With crises, Mothers and sisters who shouldered the responsibility of becoming a solid source of inspiration for Swayamsevaks and work,” he said.

Hosabale, which details the plans for the centenary of the RSS, said that Sangh Swayamsevaks will make a special effort to invite wider cooperation and participation to every household – in big cities, in distant villages and all parts of the society. With the coordinated effort of all well -intentioned forces of society, the next stage of India’s journey towards holistic development will certainly be smoother and more successful.
