According to The New York Times, the note reads: “They investigated me for months – FOUND NOTHING!!!”

“It is a pleasure to be able to choose the time to say goodbye.

‘Be careful what you ask me to do – Walk out crying!!’ It ends with ‘NO FUN’, these words are underlined and then ‘NOT WORTH IT!!”

The note was discovered following a failed suicide attempt in July 2019. The following month, he made another attempt that proved fatal; Epstein died by suicide at the age of 66 in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City.

The memo was made public Wednesday after the New York Times petitioned the court to unseal it.

Epstein’s cellmate Nicholas Tartaglione discovered the note after the failed attempt, and it later became part of his criminal case.
