Trump delivers 8 major national security wins globally in early 2025

President Donald J. Trump is wielding America’s fragile military and economic power around the world like no other president before him. Here are eight victories that led to a 100% restoration of American leadership.
1. Operation Midnight Tow Truck
Seven B-2 bombers dropped specially designed precision munitions into the airshafts of Iran’s nuclear weapons production facilities. Iran’s threshold nuclear weapons capability has been destroyed. Yes, Israeli strikes had hit Iranian air defense facilities, but it took more than 100 US warplanes and a massive bridge of aerial refueling tankers to carry out the attack on June 22. Trump has repeatedly said Iran will never have nuclear weapons. US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee later said, “I don’t know if they took him seriously until the night the B-2 bombers went to Fordow.” The world is safer, and this will be the standout military decision of Trump’s presidency.
2. Gaza ceasefire
Only Trump could achieve this. On October 8, Trump announced that Israel and Hamas had agreed to a ceasefire and that Hamas would return the hostages. Trump later gathered most of the top world leaders in Egypt to rally behind the deal. The Gaza agreement confirmed Trump’s relentless negotiating tactic, personified and glorified by the leadership of Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner. There is still much work to be done, but the Abraham Accords process is back on track.

3. F-47
After years of delay under the Biden administration, Trump awarded the F-47 contract to Boeing on March 21 to build the Air Force’s sixth-generation fighter jet. Air power is the backbone of America’s global power. This is from Midway to Normandy and around the world, World War II. It was proven in World War II. American air power has shaped every conflict since. With the F-47, Trump promises to dominate advanced engine technology, sixth-generation fighter jets and fighter wingmen. Now if only they could get the US Navy to purchase the new F/A-XX fighter jet to extend carrier strike range.
TRUMP’S GREAT PEACE STRATEGY IS FEARING FRUIT IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND IN THE WORLD

4. Venezuela and the Western Hemisphere
Speaking of aircraft carriers, the arrival of the USS Gerald R. Ford in the Caribbean on November 16 doubled down on Trump’s decision to clean up the Western Hemisphere. Secretary of State Marco Rubio scored an initial victory in January, when Panama restricted China’s property interests around the Panama Canal and agreed not to renew its membership in China’s Belt and Road plan. Maduro’s crackdown on drug ships and oil tankers aims to bring down a dangerous cartel. This is also the beginning of a tough war for the Western Hemisphere. Victory comes if the narco-terrorists are neutralized and the preferred business partner is the United States, not China.
5. Ensuring the security of the border
The numbers speak. Customs and Border Patrol reported a total of 30,573 encounters at borders nationwide in October 2025; that number was 92% below the Biden administration’s December 2024 peak of 370,883 encounters. This closed the pipeline for people on the terrorism watch list and mysterious Chinese transits.

6. Prosperity of Ukraine
A complete departure from the strategic stagnation of the Biden years, Trump’s deals opened the way to prosperity for Ukraine. The first step was the joint initiative on strategic minerals signed on April 30. The peace plans now being negotiated by Witkoff include Ukraine’s rapid access to the European Union’s single market (a goal Ukraine has long sought), plus a grain shipping route via the Black Sea and access to electricity from the massive Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. AMERICA MUST WIN THE AI RACE AND PREPARE FOR THE WORST
7. Putting artificial intelligence on the national security agenda
Speaking of which, Trump rewrote national security criteria by bringing in American tech giants. Americans cannot be safe unless the US AI technology stack wins the race for global supremacy. We are ahead of China, but not by much. Some of Trump’s $20 trillion in foreign investment goes to tech infrastructure; He also recognizes that our U.S. tech giants should be free to gain global market share, from chips to data centers to AI applications. Only they have the money to compete with China’s state-backed innovators.

8 Nigeria
ISIS lost its so-called “caliphate” in Syria and Iraq in 2019, but the threat has not disappeared. ISIS is a global network. Consider the December 25 attacks against ISIS terrorists in Sokoto State, Nigeria, as part of a long-term strategy to destroy ISIS strongholds. US forces had conducted more than 80 operations against ISIS targets in Syria since July 2025 alone. “We will root out and eliminate terrorist jihadists wherever they hide,” said Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of United States Central Command. And that was before Operation Hawkeye Strike hit 70 ISIS targets in Syria on December 19. This is a war that America will continue to wage against radicalism, antisemitism, and terrorism.
Notice what’s not on this list: China. The Pentagon’s annual report on China, published on December 24, states that the United States has become increasingly vulnerable due to China’s military buildup. China is moving towards nine aircraft carriers and 1,000 nuclear warheads. Trump’s policy has been to stay quiet and achieve economic coexistence while working to reset trade deals and bring critical manufacturing back home. He’s won on points, but only the full deployment of more Navy ships, a stronger Space Force, Golden Dome missile defenses, and numerous factories will bring victory.
