Choices based on a good piece.
Race 1
4. Jarbardar He won a jump at Wangaratta in February before winning a trial at Corowa last month. He is a Written By making his racing debut here and is ready to make a winning impact. 5. Prince Edition He debuted with a seventh place finish at Caulfield Heath late last year and has recently led this ongoing race as one of the winners of the Wagga Riverside trial. 7. Borata’s Daughter He finished third in his first start at this track and needs to stand out again here. 1. Avido He makes his debut here after a Super Seth trial placement, and a bold showing wouldn’t be a surprise.
How to play: Jarbardar WON.
race 2
8. Trigozo He made a start last June when finishing fifth and continued here after a quiet trial. We expect a bold run fresh. 4. Chef’s Kiss He is making his debut after coming third in the Kembla Grange trial and is being watched closely. 6. Lord Limerick It disappointed as a favorite when it was last produced in Albury but is worth giving it another go. 9. Val the Octopus She is a Denman mare making her debut here and although she was not well beaten she did have a trial here where she finished fourth.
How to play: Trigoso EVERY WAY.
race 3
5. Pure Melody He appeared in four of his first five starts and came up short in the fourth of the Fall Break with his only outstanding effort. He got a brief citation to make his debut at this track with a last start win and can get on with the job. 1. Ghost Walker He’s missed a spot in his last three starts, but at best he’s talented and can handle it. 8. Timeless Grace is the last starter Gundagai placeholder that can be found there again. 2. Straight Fire It’s serviceable at best, and a return to form would come as no surprise.
How to play: Pure Melody WON.
Race 4
1. Masked Vision He received great support on his Canberra debut and ran a good race while finishing second. It can get better here with the benefit of development. 5. Zou Power He finished fourth at Goulburn on his debut and should not be underestimated. 6. Forty-Three Beans He made his debut at Nowra and finished second. 8. Capital Baby The last start that warrants considering a place is Goulburn runner-up.
How to play: Masked Vision WON.
race 5
1. Cosmic Lad Strike well off the line to score from a similar distance at Newcastle when last produced. Here he carries a similar weight and only needs to repeat the effort before it becomes difficult to hold on again. 2. Belleistic Children Qualifications in Albury and Canberra followed with fourth in the Gundagai Cup and guarantees were again considered. 4. Villasaurus He was in midfield in the Country Championship Final at Randwick and will find it easier despite being widely contested. 10. Southern Dancer He should get a good start from the domestic draw and a future showing wouldn’t be a surprise.
How to play: Cosmic Lad ANY WAY.
race 6
1. Ole Daze He became his first winner when racing fast at Wangaratta and then raced close to the pace again, finishing second when beaten half a length at Sandown. He has the talent to shake it up. 6. Hip Hip ole Moving on, he was placed in Canberra and had two consecutive wins at the end of his final campaign. 15.Tessarion He was deployed home to score at Albury last time out and scored a try to get on target. 11. Judith’s Revenge He has won two straight at this track before the final two seconds and just needs to maintain his form to be tough to endure.
How to play: Ole Daze WON.

Another prominent development is in the cards. 11.Keikoku He has a number of placings and is coming off the same race that Teylu competed in Canberra. 6. Love Shuck He’s fresh off the back of his last start seconds in Canberra and finished second in the recent Goulburn trial.
