Rajya Sabha Polls For 4 Jammu and Kashmir Seats on October 24

New Delhi: The Election Commission said on Wednesday that the election commission will be held on October 24th to fill the Biennial elections from Jammu and Kashmir, who had been empty since 2021.
EC, while explaining the program, Jammu and Kashmir’s former state of Jammu and Kashmir (with the Legislative Assembly) and Ladakh (without legislative), he said.
According to the Jammu and Kashmir reorganization law, four seating members of Rajya Sabha, representing the current Jammu and Kashmir province, will be considered to be selected to fill the seats allocated to Jammu and Kashmir’s Union Region.
All four seats were lying empty, because since the lack of voters to carry out the elections at the time of empty positions occurred, since the end of the seating members ended.
Jammu and Kashmir said that after the Constitution of the UT Legislative Assembly, he was a necessary voter to carry out the biennial elections.
The count of the votes will take place one hour after the end of the vote on October 24th.
