Ramadoss urges DMK govt. to address demands of revenue staff on strike

Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) founder S. Ramadoss on Thursday, February 26, 2026, urged the Tamil Nadu government to immediately meet the demands of Revenue Department officials and employees who are on strike across the state.

Stating that authorities often face risks when enforcing laws and implementing programs, Dr. Ramadoss said the demands for special appropriations and service protection legislation were justified. He also criticized the reduction of the compassionate appointment quota and called on the government to hold talks and meet employees’ demands, noting that more than 14,000 vacancies remain vacant.
