Ramesh Chennithala accuses Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan of ‘hushing up’ sexual harassment complaints since his CPI(M) secretary tenure

Senior Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala said Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has “silenced sexual harassment complaints ever since he became president”. [CPI(M] party secretary.”

Responding to the Chief Minister’s allegations on Thursday, Mr Chennithala said in Thiruvananthapuram that Mr Vijayan “should first stop the womanisers in the CPI(M)”.
He said the Prime Minister had made huge allegations after nearly two weeks of examining a woman’s complaint against an old Left-backed Independent legislator and a film producer.
He said the Prime Minister’s condition was “deplorable and this was all an attempt to cover up the gold theft in the Sabarimala case”.
Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister criticized the Congress, saying “if they continue to legitimize sexual perversions, people will reject them”.
